Dr Tierra graduated with a bachelor degree in kinesiology from UNC at Greensboro. She continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic. She has always had a passion for natural and holistic health. Dr Tierra believes that the body was made to heal itself without the aid of any medications. She knows all spines matter from birth and up. She would like to introduce the true meaning of chiropractic to the community and help people understand how important an adjustment is to the body and nervous system. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, going to the movies, and drawing/coloring.
Dr. Tommy's first love was sports medicine. He has always been very involved with all sports, but tennis took the lead as his favorite. He played tennis collegiately for Baylor University. He then continued his education in the graduate program at Indiana State University. After graduating, Dr. Tommy was fortunate to work as a physical therapist with professional basketball teams including: Atlanta Hawks, San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat. While working with elite athletes he observed how religiously they would get adjusted before games and scrimmages and became intrigued with this amazing new way to look at health.
In 1996, he decided to become a chiropractor and joined Life University to learn how to remove nerve interference from spines and make a healthier community.
Upon graduation, he opened his own practice, Forrest Sport & Family Chiropractic, in Lumberton, NC where he and his wife raised their four children and became very active in the community. Dr. Tommy was very involved in his church where he served as a deacon, and played guitar on the worship team. He also served as Vice President and President of the Kiwanis of Lumberton, a non-profit that serves underprivileged children. After 15 years in practice he sold his practice and has worked at various offices in the Carolinas for the last 10 years.
Dr. Tommy has seen amazing results with chiropractic and knows that when individuals combine chiropractic with a healthy lifestyle both physically and spiritually you really do get the “BEST POSSIBLE YOU!”
When he's not at the office you can find him spending time with his family or on the tennis court!
